About Us

TimeCalculator.online helps you work with days, hours, minutes and seconds. Use the calculator to combine durations, subtract time, move a starting date and time, or evaluate a time expression.

Time calculations become easier to follow when the units are clear. For example, 90 minutes equals 1 hour and 30 minutes, while 1.5 hours also equals 1 hour and 30 minutes. Our tools bring these values into a consistent format so you can interpret the result.

Three ways to calculate time

Duration mode: Add or subtract two lengths of time using separate fields for days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Date mode: Choose a starting date and clock time, then add or subtract an amount of time. Calendar days move the date while preserving the local clock time; hours, minutes and seconds represent elapsed time.

Expression mode: Enter a formula using unit labels such as 2h + 45m or 1d 3h – 90m.

Practical uses

You can use these tools to total study sessions, estimate activity lengths, combine travel segments or check everyday schedules. For work records, verify break rules and rounding separately. For appointments across time zones, confirm the destination’s local time using a suitable time-zone resource.

Clear inputs, understandable results

Blank duration fields count as zero. Results carry smaller units into larger units, and subtracting a longer duration from a shorter duration can produce a negative result.

Date calculations depend on local device settings. Daylight saving changes can make one calendar day different from 24 elapsed hours. See our usage guide for examples.
